After visiting the wonderful Lulu’s Espresso Trailer for a chai and hummingbird cupcake in Riverhead… I dropped into Studio Black NZ next door. Studio Black is a boutique homeware and gift store with a great collection of on-trend designer items for the home. Their range could be described as modern/industrial meets rustic/antique and I’ve picked a few of my favourites whilst browsing the shop. There is a huge home decoration trend for natural fibers such as jute, hessian, linen, wool and rope of which can be seen in many of their chosen products along with plenty of plants and planters supporting the trend of Biophilic design; bringing more of living nature into our homes. They’ve also curated a small range of jewellery and organic kids clothing making this shop well worth a stop if you’re out along the Coatesville-Riverhead Highway.
