WEEK 3 BATHROOM HIGHS AND LOWS…
At the start of week 3 it was revealed there would be a 5th team joining and in walked Amy & Stu , winners from The Block 2018 – they will be taking on apartment 5.
Family bathroom week was one of the most difficult challenges yet and for some teams it was a total disaster. The only teams to finish were Amy & Stu and Sophia and Makaere so the judges had just two teams in the running to win room reveal. The judges were left very unimpressed with the teams that had not even made real building progress and just presenting a mood board of materials – this was a first in The Block history.
Winners Amy & Stu, the professional Gizzy duo from The Block 2018, completed an elegant clean and simple bathroom with contrasting white and deep rose tiles and finished with luxury gold tapware and statement artwork to complete the look.
SOPHIE & MAKAERE…
Runners up Sophie & Makaere showed off a beautifully styled bathroom, making good use of the narrow space with a well chosen bath, vanity and accessories to match their contrasting light and stormy grey tiles. Shop the look – Sophie and Makaere.
