The Block NZ – Firehouse is the 8th Season for this popular DIY, makeover show hosted by Mark Richardson on THREE. This season four teams will renovate apartments set in an old 1930’s firestation in Kingsland, Auckland and be expected to transform these into luxury inner-city living spaces in order to make a profit and walk away with the $100k grand prize. GUEST BEDROOM – Week 1
We saw Sophia and Makaere take out the winning spot for their guest bedroom as it simply took that element of comfort, sanctuary and luxe further beyond the other contestants. The rich moody and sexy colour palate of deep jewel like tones is very 2019 and they did a great job of balancing these deep colours with softened similar tones through bedding, cushions, and throws.
